Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy and adverse effects of oral propranolol in comparison with topical timolol for the treatment of hemangioma. Background Previous research declares that hemangioma is the most common tumor of infancy and childhood, occurring in 4–10% of white infants. Patients and methods To reach the goal of this research, a prospective randomized study was performed by selecting 20 patients with hemangioma attending the Pediatric Surgery Clinic at Menoufia Main University Hospital and Damanhur National Medical Institute. Objectives To evaluate the response and safety of treatment of chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) by direct-acting antiviral (DAAs) drugs in patients with Child B-related cirrhosis. Background Chronic HCV infection is considered to be one of the major public health diseases that affect most Egyptian population. The appearance of DAAs with its safety and high successful eradication rates has replaced the old treatment protocols, which used interferon.
