Nursing Leadership in Community Engagement Projects

The city of Seattle is ranked as the third-largest homeless population in the US with approximately 11,751 homeless individuals in 2020 (Public Health-Seattle & King County, 2020). Angeline’s is a former day center that now provides longer term, 24-hour housing for homeless women in Seattle and aims to help them find and maintain safe, stable housing. Their services include meals, laundry, showers, lockers, and connections to community resources.
