The APTA has identified the roles of the CCCE and CI as leaders in physical therapy clinical education. In the literature there appears to be an absence of studies examining the CCCE and CI leadership style and its impact on the preparation for clinical instruction, extra effort, job satisfaction and effectiveness of quality clinical education.
