Migrants account for more than 80% of the total population of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Few population-based data were available about the burden of lost time injuries (LTIs) and fatalities among migrant workers employed in the construction industry. The proposed study aimed to estimate the prevalence of LTIs and associated factors, and fatalities among construction workers in Al Ain, of Abu Dhabi Emirate in the UAE.
