Although it is recognized that there is a gap in health education in migrant and other under-served populations, very few programs have been established to address this problem. This research is important because it highlights areas in which health education is lacking and provides suggestions on how to address these issues. The purpose of the research was to assess the health education program present in the migrant community living in the Vista Hermosa community at the Broetje Orchards in Prescott, Washington, and to compare it to other migrant and agricultural communities.
