Presentación de los resultados obtenidos con la aplicación del Método mSD en el manejo del estrés, la ansiedad, y otros estados mentales motivados por procesos involuntarios. El mSD se ha aplicado sobre niños, jóvenes, adultos, ancianos con y sin patologías clínicas, dando todos ellos excelentes resultados. También se ha trabajado con el mSD en pacientes con Alzheimer en un proyecto de investigación farmacológica.

Working with clients who die can have a major impact on the way professionals address their own grief. Daily exposure to the possibility of death alters the process of mourning and can leave professionals feeling disconnected from family and friends during times of grief. This presentation will look at the challenges that hospice workers, clergy members, social workers and other professionals face when they experience grief in their own lives. Evidence-based strategies for supporting professionals in their grief will also be explored.

Background: Sensory processing issues are one of the most common complaints in autism spectrum disorder (ASD). One area of sensory difficulties in ASD that has been the focus of intense research in recent years is multisensory integration (MSI), or the ability to bind auditory and visual information into a single, unified percept. While integration of social or linguistic information is consistently shown to be an area of difficulty in ASD, results are less clear with simple, non-sociolinguistic stimuli.
