Introduction
• Understanding the impact of situational variables on surgical recovery can improve outcomes in total hip arthroplasty (THA).
• Literature examining hospital outcomes by season remains inconclusive, with limited focus on patient experience.
• The aim of this study was to investigate if there were differences in hospital and patient-reported outcomes measures (PROMS) after THA depending on the season in an area with 4 distinct seasons.
Variations Exist In Hospital And Patient-Reported Outcomes Following Total Hip Arthroplasty According To Biological Sex, Catherine Call, Andrew Lachance, Thomas Zink, Henry Stoddard, Callahan Sturgeon, George Babikian, Adam Rana, Brian J. Mcgrory

Introduction
• The effect of biological sex on the outcomes of THA remains unclear.
• Average combined data may mask sex-related variation and obscure clinically relevant differences in outcomes.

Costas T. Lambrew Research Retreat 2022
•Total Hip Arthroplasty (THA) procedures are becoming increasingly common globally. •There is current debate surrounding the efficacy of simultaneous versus staged bilateral total hip arthroplasty, mainly with regards to patient outcomes and complications. •This study examines the perioperative and postoperative outcomes of simultaneous and staged bilateral THA procedures using the Anterior Based Muscle Sparing (ABMS) approach, also known as the ABLE Advanced Anterior Approach.

Introduction: To determine whether the Electronic Pre-participation Physical Examination (EPPE), a proprietary and frequently used tool, is an effective method for depression and anxiety screening in the collegiate athlete population as compared to the Patient Health Questionnaire-4 (PHQ-4).
Methods: College athletes at a Division III university completed PHQ-4 questionnaires and a proprietary EPPE. Positive reponse rates to depression and/or anxiety for both questionnaires were collected and analyzed with a kappa (κ) statistic.
Results: Among 420 students, we found that 9 (2%) reported depression and/or anxiety via the EPPE. Of the 26 students (6%) who answered positively on the PHQ-4, we …
