  • Preventing Postoperative Urinary Tract Infections in Cancer Patients: Urinary tract infections (UTIs) increase morbidity, mortality and health care costs and prolong hospitalizations for patients who require urinary catheters-especially those who undergo long, complex surgeries or procedures to treat urological or gynecological cancers.
