Preterm birth brings with it stress that requires separation from their parents, acute care, prolonged hospitalization, rigorous medical interventions with more technological contact. A preterm neonate in the neonatal intensive care unit, not only places the parents in emotional turmoil, but it also makes them experience physical, social, financial and spiritual stress. Introduction: Migrant mothers residing in the slum area always underutilize the health services rendered by the government. Objective: The objective of this study was to assess the health services utilization for children among migrant mothers of under-five children. Method: A cross-sectional descriptive survey approach was used for this study. The study was conducted among 320 mothers from selected migrant areas of Shivamogga District of Karnataka. Results: Results revealed that the majority (99.1%) of the mothers had utilized hospital services for delivery. Around 82.2% of the mothers were aware of Janani Suraksha Yojana. Background: Everyone makes a lot of adjustments to lead a good life. The atmosphere in college plays an important role in developing the self-esteem of the students. Objective: To find the correlation between adjustment and selfesteem among novice B.Sc. Nursing students. Methods: The study was conducted with 196 first year B.Sc. Nursing students using correlative study design. A convenient sampling technique was adopted. Socio-demographic proforma, adjustment assessment inventory and state self-esteem scale were used to collect the data. Hydronephrosis involves the dilatation of the renal pelvis, calyces and ureter. It develops secondary to urinary tract obstruction and leads to a build-up of backpressure in the urinary tract. It can affect unilateral or bilateral kidneys and is caused either by blocking urine flow to the bladder or the urine is leaking backward through the reflux. We report a case of a 9-year-old child inpatient in a paediatric surgical unit. A cystoscopy revealed that the bladder is distended and the bladder wall is thickened.
