Background/Significance: Video-based learning is a growing method being utilized to train nurse anesthesia trainees (NATs) in crisis management, such as a venous gas embolism (VGE). Use of this educational modality may improve crisis management skills, competence, and confidence in the NAT. Purpose: The purpose of this project was to evaluate the effectiveness of an educational video in enhancing the appropriate crisis management of VGE among NATs as measured by their knowledge and confidence levels.
