The Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) project is intended to identify a problem and implement an intervention that will change the current problem in a hospital setting. This project explores the reasons for patient falls on an inpatient unit at an urban hospital, referred to as Unit A and Hospital Y. Unit A is a 45-bed cardiac floor where patients are at high risk for falls due to diagnosis, medications, and treatment.
