Introduction: Musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) are the injuries that have an effect on the movement of the body or its system like muscles, tendons, nerves, discs, ligaments etc.
Materials and methods: The study aimed to assess the musculoskeletal disorders, identify the contributing factors and association between musculoskeletal disorders and the selected variables among student nurses. Abstract
Introduction
Children experience significant pain and distress during paediatric procedures, especially during intravenous (IV) cannulation. Several non-pharmacological interventions are in use for this purpose. Many distraction techniques are suggested.
Methods
A randomised controlled trial was conducted among 60 children in the age group of 4-12 years undergoing first IV cannulation after admission to evaluate the effectiveness of kaleidoscope compared to standard treatment on pain and behaviour response. Through block randomisation, 30 children were allocated to each group. Standard tools were used to assess pain and behaviour response.

Vanishing twin’s syndrome refers to the death of one of the co-twin foetus(es) during the early antenatal period. The cause of vanishing twins is unknown and most cases occur with in-vitro fertilization (IVF) conception. Transvaginal ultrasonography helps to detect lost twins during the early trimester. The complications that may arise among neonates born to women with a known history of vanishing twin syndrome are low birth weight and low Apgar score at birth.

The study was conducted to assess the awareness and health promotional behaviour regarding non- alcoholic fatty liver disease among female population at risk . Methods: this non- experimental research study was conducted among 149 females under risk of developing Non Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease. Autism, otherwise identified under the DSM 5 Diagnostic and Statistical Classification as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), is a neurodevelopmental genetic developmental disorder among children, which can affect the social communication, changes in sensory aspects and repetitive, ritualistic patterns of behaviour. The present report describes a case study of a child who was diagnosed with autism. The report follows the child’s history from birth till diagnosis and explores the challenges faced by the child and parents to obtain necessary care for the child during the current pandemic situation in an attempt to raise awareness regarding the condition among health professionals.

Extreme preterm birth is the most critical risk factor, which leads to adverse effects on medical and developmental outcomes. We report a case of an extremely preterm infant admitted to NICU and had a prolonged period of non-invasive ventilation. The neonate had hepatosplenomegaly and antibiotic, antifungal, and antiviral treatment. She was recovered and shown significant improvement in her health status and growth and development were assessed until five years of corrected age.

Catastrophic antiphospholipid syndrome is a rare disease with positive antiphospholipid antibodies that progresses to a life-threatening condition resulting in multiple organ dysfunction and thromboses. Here is a 19-year young woman who presented to the emergency room in a haemodynamically unstable condition requiring immediate mechanical ventilator support. She had involvement of the disease in the respiratory, cardiovascular, renal, and central nervous systems. She also developed gangrene of the left toes for which amputation was done. She was successfully treated with Dexamethasone Cyclophosphamide Pulse (DCP) therapy. The collaborative care by the health team members in the intensive care unit was successful in …
