Aim: To report an analysis of the concept of grief in mothers of children with addiction. Background. The concept of grief in this context is poorly understood and often synonymously used with concepts depression, loss and chronic sorrow. In the US, the core concept grief has been recently revised by both NANDA and the DSM-V in efforts to better understand and characterize the concept. An Exploration Of The Relationship Between Religiousness And Treatment Seeking Trends Among College Students, Jessica M. Sturgeon

The purpose of this study was to determine if there is a relationship between levels of religiousness and students’ openness to seeking treatment for mental health disorders in college‐aged students at a small private university. A total of 141 complete surveys were collected from students. Each participant completed the Fetzer Multidimensional Measurement of Religiousness/Spirituality for Use in Health Research along with an eight‐question survey assessing willingness to seek treatment for mental disorders. The results were analyzed to find the Spearman’s Rank Correlation Coefficient to determine correlation. Health care professionals are deeply involved in caring for the human life and during this process, they come in a close contact with the care recipients. This, at times, positions the health care professionals in a vulnerable situation including workplace harassment which is an offensive verbal or physical act and comprises of an unwanted behavior or advancement or demand for sexual and other favors. This conduct creates an intimidating, unfriendly, and offensive work environment (Sigal, 2006).
