Background Nesfatin-1 is considered an anorexigenic peptide that plays an important role in appetite regulation, weight loss, and malnutrition. Background The nutritional status of school-age children is a primary determinant of children's health, as it influences their physical and mental development. The aim of this study was to assess the nutritional status and dietary intake of macronutrients and micronutrients in a sample of malnourished school-age children (5–12 years) in Egypt.
