Workplace violence has become a critical safety issue in the health care setting, often leading to increased stress levels and employees that feel unsupported and inadequately prepared; which leads to increased turnover, and subsequently, diminished overall organizational productivity and poorer patient outcomes. The purpose of this study was to examine whether supervisor support and resilience affect productivity and turnover intent related to professional role and work experience following workplace violence in the pediatric health care setting.
