The expansion and diversification of postsecondary education in the United States has led to greater options for students and prospective students for pursuing a college degree. The purpose of this study is to determine the dependability and accuracy of Clinical Performance in Nursing Examination (CPNE®) scores obtained from trained raters. Intraclass correlations were calculated to estimate interrater agreement. Accuracy of scores was determined by identifying percent accuracy for each scored element. Generalizability (G) coefficients were calculated to estimate sources of variance in CPNE scores. The population for the study is adjunct faculty at Excelsior College who agreed to participate in the study and are clinical examiners trained as raters for the CPNE
