Especies Nuevas De Lasioglossum Curtis De Las Altas Montañas De Las Antillas Mayores Y Estado Actual Del Conocimiento Del Taxon Habralictellus Moure Y Hurd (Hymenoptera: Apoidea: Halictidae), Julio A. Genaro

Resumen. Se describen para las Antillas cuatro especies nuevas de Lasioglossum Curtis pertenecientes al taxon Habralictellus Moure y Hurd (Hymenoptera: Halictidae): Lasioglossum (Habralictellus) cuba, Lasioglossum (Habralictellus) darlingtoni, Lasioglossum (Habralictellus) jagibbsi y Lasioglossum (Habralictellus) laupackeri. Se utiliza como subgénero para mantener la estabilidad taxonómica. Se presenta la historia y el estado actual del conocimiento de Habralictellus, que aún no ha encontrado un lugar justificado y aceptado, al unísono por los especialistas, en la nomenclatura zoológica. Se ofrece un listado de las especies conocidas, sexo y distribución.

An overview of the 28 species of Aradidae found in Michigan is presented, along with an identification key, distribution maps, and relevant literature. Eleven new state records are presented for the following species: Aradus approximatus Parshley, Aradus duzeei Bergroth, Aradus falleni Stål, Aradus insolitus Van Duzee, Aradus intectus Parshley, Aradus montanus Bergroth, Aradus proboscideus Walker, Aradus shermani Heidemann, Aradus uniformis Heidemann, Quilnus niger (Stål) (all Aradinae), and Neuroctenus simplex (Uhler) (Mezirinae).

An Updated Checklist Of The Spiders (Arachnida: Araneae) Of Arkansas, Henry W. Robison, C. Renn Tumlison, Paula E. Cushing, Peggy R. Dorris

A total of 510 species of spiders representing 43 families and 215 genera are herein reported from Arkansas. The most diverse families of state spiders were Salticidae (64 species), Lycosidae (59 species), Araneidae (55 species), and Gnaphosidae (54 species). Twelve families had only a single representative species in the state. Additional taxa will surely be added to the checklist with future taxonomic studies incorporating molecular analyses and additional collecting. This updated checklist is intended to be of use to arachnologists, researchers, naturalists, professional biologists, and managers in determining the biodiversity for Arkansas.
