Twenty two species of Lachesilla were found in the West Indies and Trinidad, 11 of which are here described. Twelve species inhabit the Greater Antilles (with two exclusive endemics), four species are found in the Lesser Antilles (with two exclusive endemics), and 11 species are found in Trinidad, four of which are exclusive endemics. Two species are shared between the Greater and the Lesser Antilles. La revisión del material tipo y de especímenes colectados recientemente del género Amphelictogon (Diplopoda: Polydesmida: Chelodesmidae), ofrece los siguientes resultados: Una combinación nueva (Rhacophorus magrtus pasa a Amphelictogoli. magnus); seis sinónimos nuevos (A. rubripes, A. sygethus, A. guantanamanus, A. flavipes sinónimos de A. cubanus; A. bidens sinónimo de A. subterraneus; A. atricolor sinónimo de A. magnus); tres status nuevos (A. bahamiensis, A. dolius, A. pinetorum pasan a subspecies de A. subterraneus) y dos taxones en status incierto (A. juvenis, A. maculatus). A New Genus And Species Of Aquatic Beetle, Caenelmis Octomeria, From Kenya, Africa (Coleoptera: Elmidae: Elminae), Paul J. Spangler

The new genus and species, Caenelmis octomeria, belonging to the Elmidae and subfamily Elminae, are described. Character states used for recognition of the new genus are illustrated by line drawings and scanning electron micrographs. The 8-segmented antenna of the new genus will readily distinguish it from the other 25 elmid genera knownfrom Africa.
