Our program aimed to increase knowledge related to fermented foods. Over 400 stakeholders registered for a webinar series that focused on defining fermented foods, health benefits of fermenting foods, and the safety of fermented foods. Participants indicated increases in knowledge and overall satisfaction with the content of the fermentation curriculum. The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the program outcomes are discussed.

Breastfeeding is the ideal method suited for the physiological and psychological needs of an infant and the most vital intervention for reducing infant mortality and ensuring optimal growth and development of a child. Human breast milk is considered the healthiest form of milk for children and contains essential nutrients, vitamins, and minerals during the first six months. The purpose of this study was to find out about breastfeeding knowledge and its relationship with women’s socio-demographic characteristics.

Knowledge of disease can affect attitudes and prevention practices, and wrong attitudes and practices can directly increase the risk of disease infection. This study aimed to describe the knowledge, attitudes, and COVID-19 prevention practice of healthcare workers in Indonesia and factors associated with prevention practices. A mobile-based cross-sectional survey was conducted in August 2020 with 254 healthcare workers in Indonesia. The self-administered questionnaire consisted of four parts: 1) sociodemographic information, 2) knowledge of COVID-19, 3) attitudes and anxiety toward COVID-19, and 4) COVID-19 prevention practices. ABSTRACT: Background: Antimicrobial resistance is an urgent global issue. Several associations are supporting the implementation of antibiotic stewardship programs in all hospitals. This program is multidisciplinary in its nature however, nurses are often not included in the antibiotic stewardship team. Osteoporosis is a silent skeletal disease that is often recognized when fractures occur as a result of minimal trauma. Limited studies have assessed the degree of pharmacists’ involvement in osteoporosis prevention, risk-assessment/screening and physician referrals.
