Al-Azhar Bulletin of Science

The fact that patients with a viral respiratory infection are more likely to develop a bacterial infection and the recently reported prevalence of bacterial co-infection among COVID-19 patients in the ICU and its association with serious disease complications. However, the role of co-bacterial infection still needs a lot of study and research. This study was designed to investigate the frequency and etiology of bacterial infections in patients with COVID-19 admitted to the ICU and exploring their antibiogram sensitivity. We conducted the blind mini-bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL) sampling technique, VITEK 2 compact system for bacterial identification; K. pneumoniae was the most frequently …

Al-Azhar Bulletin of Science

This paper studies pandemic viruses that spread during the period (1759-2020) according to solar activity cycles. Our findings and results include the following: (1) the pandemic severity level has a negative correlation with the strength of solar activity; (2) pandemic viruses are of three types according to their compatibility with solar activity association. Most of them spread through the quiet Sun, where viruses survive better in cold and rainy weather; (3) the emergence of new strains of influenza viruses was manifested in two ways. First, the annual epidemics due to antigenic drift. Second, pandemics recur at 1-12 solar cycles (~11-120 …

A Novel Kind Of Generalized Belief Interval-Valued Soft Set And Its Application In Decision- Making, Rehab Basheer, Ahmed Khalil, Ahmed Zahran

Al-Azhar Bulletin of Science

In this paper, we introduce the novel concept of generalized belief interval-valued soft set (briefly, GBIVSS) and examine their properties. Also, we define the nine types of operations (for example, subset, equal, union, intersection, restricted union, extended intersection, complement, soft max-AND, and soft min-OR) on the GBIVSS. The basic theoretical of the above nine operations are given. Based on the concept of GBIVSS, we construct an algorithm to solve the soft decision-making problem, and extended their applicability with help of illustrative examples. Finally, a comparative analysis study has been constructed and compared with the result of Bashir et al.’s approach.

The Implications Of N =2 Supergravity Cosmology On The Topology Of The Calabi-Yau Manifold, Safinaz Salem, Moataz Emam, Hala Salah

Al-Azhar Bulletin of Science

When N = 1 D = 11 supergravity is compactified on CY threefold to N = 2 D = 5 supergravity, the action of the last is given in terms of the geometry of the CY manifold space, namely, in terms of the hypermultiplets. There are zi (i = 1,...,h2,1) complex structure moduli in the moduli space of the CY manifold which’s a special manifold with a metric . We solve the field equations of the complex structure moduli with the solution of the Einstein field equations to the moduli velocity norm in the case of a 3- brane filled …

On The Representation Of Analytic Functions By Series Of Derived Bases Of Polynomials In Hyperelliptical Regions, Mohamed Al-Sheikh, Gamal Hassan, Abd Almonem Ibrahim, Ahmed Zahran

Al-Azhar Bulletin of Science

One of the important themes in complex analysis is the expansion of analytic functions by infinite series in a given sequence of bases of polynomials. In the present paper, we investigated the representation of analytic functions in different domains of derived bases of polynomials. The behaviour of the associated representation of whole functions is directly related to determining the convergence properties (effectiveness) of such bases. The representation domains are closed hyperellipses, open hyperellipses, and closed regions surrounding a closed hyperellipse. Also, some results concerning the order of derived bases in hyperellipse are obtained. The results obtained are natural generalisations of …

Mineralogical Studies And Radioactivity Of Wadi Steih Stream Sediments, South Sinai, Egypt, Hassan Sherif, Ismail El Akeed, Mahmoud Gabr, Mahmoud Naser

Al-Azhar Bulletin of Science

Wadi Steih stream sediments are generally produced from long term successive physical and/or chemical weathering and consequence erosion processes of the surrounding rock units such as younger granites, Iqna volcanics and gabbro. The representative diagrams of the plotting of the average trace element contents versus those of the surrounding rock units along with the Co/Th ratio indicate that the trace elements recorded in the Wadi Steih stream sediments are derived from the surrounding rock units. The radiometric surveying indicates the over dominance of thorium rather than uranium. The thorium content ranges from 4.4 ppm to 335 ppm with an average …

A New Algorithm For Minimizing Makespan Within Cloud Computing, Afaf Abdelhafiz Jun 2022

A New Algorithm For Minimizing Makespan Within Cloud Computing, Afaf Abdelhafiz

Al-Azhar Bulletin of Science

:The environment of cloud computing has become widely used in a variety of applications and fields in recent years. Task and resource scheduling, on the other hand, is an area where there is still room for development. Task scheduling methods that allow the mapping of incoming tasks to resources are required to meet good performance data mapping in a heterogeneous computing system. Makespan is reduced and resource usage is maximized when resources and tasks are efficiently mapped. A novel scheduling approach is proposed in this work, which improves the makespan. There are two phases to the recommended method. The Tuples …
