Quantitative Determination Of Trace Metals In Two Species Of Fish In The Cannon River, Robert E. Nesse, Jeff A. Elzinga

ABSTRACT - Samples of fish were taken from three stations along the Cannon River and comparatively analyzed for concentrations of Copper and Mercury in their muscle tissue by atomic absorption spectrophotometry. Samples from different stations showed a difference in metal concentration.

A Map Of Subsistence Agriculture, Ingolf Vogeller

ABSTRACT - American commercial agriculture has undergone an implosion: fewer and larger farms have been concentrated in certain productive areas. But subsistence agriculture has not imploded in the same areas and not to the same extent as commercial farming. A map of subsistence agricultural counties demonstrates the widespread importance of this kind of farming in the eastern United States.
