Welcome to the Ghosts of Nacogdoches Historic Trail. Open to all, this city trail is sponsored and maintained by the East Texas Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Throughout the United States of America the Boy Scouts encourage the hiking of National Historic Trails to increase the awareness of Boy Scouts towards the remarkable history of our country. The Ghosts of Nacogdoches Historic Trail is intended to focus narrowly on the importance of Nacogdoches as a hub of Western expansion and frontier development.
