Effects Of Co2 And Temperature On Biomass Of Parasitic Plants, Ji-Huan He

A general model, based on consistence of metabolic rates of a parasitic plant and its host, is suggested in the paper, that characterizes the effect of atmospheric CO2 concentration and temperature on parasite biomass. The model reveals that the increase of global mean surface temperature and CO2 might lead to an unexpected threat from parasite plants to Cryptomeria fortunei which are more than a millennium year old in Mount Tian-Mu, Zhejiang province, People’s Republic of China.
