It was the purpose of this study (1) to present a method of teaching principles of heredity at a level understandable to students of a high school biology class, (2) to present a list of resource materials for use in a heredity unit, and (3) to show how the use of live animals might intensify student interest in this subject as well as in other phases of bird life such as nest building, incubation of eggs, hatching of eggs, voice and communication, and effects of nutrition on chick development.

Little has been written about the settlement of this area. Therefore, an attempt has been made to learn what changes in settlement have been made and to explain them.

It was the purpose of this study to investigate the pros and cons of a new-and-old form of exercise called isometric contraction and to determine its place in the realm of athletics and physical fitness. Through research the paper will attempt to reach a conclusion as to the predicted success of isometric contraction upon strength1 a component of physical fitness. It will attempt to show the advantages and disadvantages of isometric contraction as a means of attaining, maintaining, and improving strength.
