Contributions To The Pediciidae (Diptera) Fauna Of Turkey With Six New Records, Okan Özgül, Hasan Koç

This study was carried out to contribute to the Pediciidae (Diptera) fauna in Afyonkarahisar, Balıkesir, Bilecik, Bursa, Çanakkale, Eskişehir, Kırklareli, Kütahya, Kocaeli, Sakarya, and Uşak provinces of Turkey between 2008 and 2014. It was reported that 12 pediciid species belonging to 4 genera have been recorded in Turkey. Six of these species were recorded for the first time for the Turkish Pediciidae fauna. These species are Dicranota (Paradicranota) flammatra Stary, 1981; Dicranota (Paradicranota) fuscipennis Lackschewitz, 1940; Dicronata (Paradicronata) landrocki Czizek, 1931; Dicranota (Paradicranota) schistacea Lackschewitz, 1940; Dicronata (Paradicronata) subtilis Loew, 1871; and Tricyphona (Tricyphona) unicolor (Schummel, 1829). Thysanoptera specimens collected from different parts of Turkey, and especially from northwestern Anatolia, were studied. Data are presented on 65 species, of which 33 are from northwestern Anatolia. The species studied are either new records for the Turkish fauna or new locality records within Turkey. The following 9 species are new records for the Turkish fauna: Bregmatothrips willcocksi (Priesner), Pseudodendrothrips mori (Niwa), Cephalothrips coxalis Bagnall, Chiraplothrips graminellus Priesner, Haplothrips arenarius Priesner, Haplothrips dianthinus Priesner, Haplothrips priesnerorum Pelikan, Haplothrips rabinovitchi Priesner, and Hoplandrothrips bidens Bagnall. First Records Of The Italian Wall Lizard, Podarcis Siculus (Rafinesque-Schmaltz, 1810) (Squamata: Lacertidae) In Albania, Edvárd Mizsei, Marcel Uhrin, Daniel Jablonski, Márton Szabolcs

The occurrence of the Italian wall lizard (Podarcis siculus) in Albania is confirmed. Our findings are now the southernmost known records of the species on the eastern Adriatic coast, and officially present a new reptile species for the Albanian herpetofauna. The origin of these records is discussed; molecular investigation is needed for future evaluation of P. siculus populations in Albania and the western Balkans.

A New And Additional Records Of The Ichneumonidae (Hymenoptera) From Turkey, Sali̇ha Çoruh, Önder Çalmaşur
Turkish Journal of Zoology
Faunistic data of 13 Ichneumonidae species from Turkey, including Artvin, Bayburt, Erzincan, Erzurum, Kars, and Trabzon, are presented from 2005-2010. A total of 25 specimens belonging to Acaenitinae, Anomaloninae, Banchinae, Campopleginae, Cryptinae, Metopiinae, Ophioninae, Orthocentrinae, Pimplinae, and Tryphoninae have been recorded. Orthocentrus marginatus Holmgren is newly added to the Turkish fauna and Buathra laborator Thunberg is a new host for Malacosoma neustria (L.) in Turkey. New distribution data of 12 known species are added.

This present contribution is based upon the ichneumonids collected from the northeastern Anatolian part of Turkey in 2014. A total of 57 species belonging to subfamilies Acaenitinae, Anomaloninae, Banchinae, Campopleginae, Cremastinae, Cryptinae, Diplazontinae, Ichneumoninae, Metopiinae, Orthocentrinae, Oxytorinae, Pimplinae, and Tryphoninae have been recorded. Among them, Agrypon clandestinum (Gravenhorst), Lissonota (Lissonota) nitida (Gravenhorst), Campoletis agilis (Holmgren), Diadegma combinatum (Holmgren), Olesicampe cavigena (Thomson), Olesicampe patellana (Thomson), Aptesis assimilis (Gravenhorst), Schreineria populnea (Giraud), Xylophrurus lancifer (Gravenhorst), Diplazon pallicoxa Manukyan, Homotropus pallipes (Gravenhorst), Woldstedtius biguttatus (Gravenhorst), and Oxytorus luridator (Gravenhorst) are new records for the Turkish fauna. This faunistic survey was carried out on the genus Trombidium, collected from northeastern Turkey in 2009-2014. Previously, only one species of Trombidium had been reported from Turkey. Five species of the genus Trombidium were identified and original drawings based on the collected materials were made. These species are new records for the Turkish mite fauna. An identification key to the adult Turkish species of Trombidium is also provided.

Ninety-five limoniid taxa have been reported to occur in Turkey. This study, conducted from June 2008 to April 2011, was aimed at describing the Limoniidae (Diptera) fauna in the Marmara region of Turkey. Twenty-three Limoniidae taxa were recorded for the first time for the Turkish fauna. These species are: Crypteria (s. In this study, fourteen species and subspecies in six genera of the family Chrysididae are listed from Hormozgan Province of Iran. Among them, Hedychridium femoratum (Dahlbom, 1854); Hedychridium virescens (du Buysson, 1908); Hedychridium verhoeffi Linsenmaier, 1959; Holopyga arabica Linsenmaier, 1994; Holopyga vicissituda Linsenmaier, 1994; Spintharina dubai Bohart, 1987; S. İntegerrima (Klug, 1845); Trichrysis scioensis (Gribodo, 1879); and T. Longispina (Mocsáry, 1912) are recorded for the first time from Iran. Geographical distributions of all the species and morphological diagnostic characteristics of the newly recorded species are briefly discussed. The ongoing revision of the genus Poa in Turkey has resulted in two new Poa records for the Flora of Turkey as Poa pratensis subsp. irrigata (Lindm.) H. Lindb. and Poa eigii Feinbrun. In addition, the presence of Poa palustris L. is confirmed. A brief discussion and an illustration for each taxon are provided.

New Macrofungi Records From Turkey And Macrofungal Diversity Of Pozantı-Adana, Hasan Hüseyi̇n Doğan, Fevzi̇ Kurt

The present study reports on macrofungi species collected from 2003 to 2012 in Pozantı. In the field and during laboratory studies, 157 taxa belonging to 2 divisions and 51 families were identified. Among them, 8 families and 12 taxa belong to Ascomycota, and 43 families and 145 taxa belong to Basidiomycota. Moreover, 10 taxa"Dumontinia tuberosa, Lycoperdon lambinonii, Conocybe mesospora, Pholiotina striipes, Hebeloma sordidum, Antrodia ramentacea, Leucogyrophana romellii, Diplomitoporus flavescens, Alutaceodontia alutacea, and Tulasnella violea"were found in the Turkish mycobiota for the first time.
