Both sexes of Diarthrodella ergeneae sp. nov. (Copepoda, Harpacticoida, Paramesochridae), which were collected from the intertidal zone of Kurtpınarı Beach along the Mediterranean coast of Turkey, are described in detail. The new species is morphologically most similar to D. convexa Kunz, 1981; D. secunda secunda Kunz, 1954; and D. lancifera Kunz, 1981 according to the setal formula of the swimming legs, but D. ergeneae sp. nov. can easily be differentiated from D. convexa by the ratio of P1 exopod/enp-1, by the lack of an inner seta on P2 enp-2, and by the shape and armature of P5; from D. secunda …

In this study, Sunius cokelezensis sp. Nov. From Çökelez Mountain in Denizli Province and Sunius sandiklicus sp. Nov. From the Sandıklı Mountains in Afyonkarahisar Province in central western Anatolia, Turkey, are described, illustrated, and distinguished from related congeners by the different shape of the ventral process of the aedeagus.

Podothrips: First Record From Iran With A New Species (Thysanoptera: Phlaeothripidae), Kambiz Minaei

Podothrips erami Minaei sp. Nov. İs described and illustrated from Fars Province in southern Iran. This is the first record of the genus from Iran. The new species is bicolored and conforms with P. Denticeps Hood and P. Distinctus Ananthakrishnan in bearing a lateral forward-directed tooth behind the compound eyes.

Medon assingi sp. N. From Anatolia is described, and its diagnostic characters are illustrated. A total of 22 species of Medon are now known from Turkey. Moreover, additional records are reported for 14 species of the genus Medon from Turkey.

In the present study, a new species of zerconid mite, Zercon istanbulensis sp. Nov., is described from İstanbul Province, Turkey. Description of the species is based on adults of both sexes and deutonymphs. Illustrations of the female, male, and deutonymph stage are also provided.

Dudgeodes bharathidasani sp. nov. is described from the Western Ghats of South India. The nymphs of this species were found in the seepage areas of a stream, and they were associated with the nets constructed by trichopteran larvae (Hydropsychidae: Hydropsyche).

First Larval Description Of The Genus Mirabilithrombium Gabry?, 1999(Acari, Microtrombidiidae) From Turkey, Sevgi̇ Sevsay, Sezai̇ Adi̇l

Mirabilithrombium turcicum sp. nov. is described based on both active postlarval forms and larvae. Larvae of Mirabilithrombium Gabrys, 1999 were obtained by experimental rearing from a field-collected female and are described for the first time. This is the third species described in the genus; a key to the active postlarval forms is provided. Data on the habitat specificity for the species are provided.

In this study, Prozercon banazensis sp. Nov. İs described and illustrated from female and deutonymph specimens collected in Kütahya and Uşak provinces (Turkey). Morphological features of P. Morazae Ujvári, 2011, which is a new record for the Turkish fauna, are also given with drawings. Information on habitat and distribution for each species is also provided.

Abrolophus balkanicus sp. Nov. İs described and illustrated from larvae collected in Montenegro. Abrolophus stanislavae (Haitlinger) and A. Wratislaviensis (Haitlinger) are redescribed. New metric data for A. Podorasensis (Haitlinger) are given. A. Podorasensis is new to the fauna of Montenegro and A. Stanislavae is new to the fauna of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The first Romanian species of the genus Crinitodiscus Sellnick, 1931 is described and illustrated on the basis of two collected females. The new species differs from the other members of the genus by the V-shaped anterior process on the female genital shield and the ridged anterior margin of the postdorsal shield. The Crinitodiscus species were previously reported only from the East Mediterranean region. This occurrence represents the first Central European data on the genus.

Faunistic and ecological data on 44 species from 3 genera of subtribe Apodacrina are given: Apodacra (13 species), Xeromyia (13 species), and Xerophilomyia (18 species). An original key to the genera is presented. Apodacra radchenkoi Verves & Khrokalo sp. nov. from Turkey is described as being new to science. One species is recorded for the first time for Afghanistan, 2 for Azerbaijan, 2 for Egypt, 2 for Greece, 8 for Israel, 1 for Kazakhstan, 1 for Kyrgyzstan, 6 for Tajikistan, 1 for Tanzania, 3 for Turkey, 2 for Turkmenistan, and 3 for Uzbekistan.
