Lichen Flora Of Trabzon, Kenan Yazici

This study was performed between May 1993 and November 1995 in Trabzon. A total of 230 species and 1 variety, which belongs to the 35 families in Ascomycotina, were defined. A total of 39 species were understood to be new records for Turkey.

During the vegetation period, a total of 52 plant specimens were collected from Uludağ National Park (Bursa) between 1988 and 1989. At the end of this investigation, 23 liverwort species were identified, belonging to 15 families and 17 genera. Of these, 4 taxa are new for the Al grid-square. Jungermannia hyalina Lyell, Marsupella funckii (Web. & Mohr) Dum and Calypogeia azureaStotler & Crotz, are reported for the second time from Turkey.

The Flora Of The Agricultural Areas In Enez (Edirne) And Environs, Mesut Ki̇reç, Celal Yarci

This work was carried out in the agricultural areas of Enez (Edirne) and environs. The study area has suitable conditions for plant species richness such as different microclimates, soils, and intensive agricultural activities. A total of 150 taxa were identi-fied belonging to Pteridophyta (2), and Spermatophyta (148). Of these, 118 taxa of Spermatophyta are in Dicotytedoneae and 30 taxa are in Monocotyledoneae. The results show that 8 taxa are new records, 1 for Thrace, 5 for A1 square and 2 for European part of A1 square.

Mericarpaea ciliata(Banks & Sol.) Eig ( Rubiaceae) is recorded from Turkey for the first time. It is also new genus record ( MericarpaeaBoiss.) for Turkey.

The Moss Flora Of The Uludağ National Park (Bursa/Turkey), Barbaros Çeti̇n

Field studies were conducted to determine the flora of Uludağ (Bursa) National Park during 1988, 1989 and 1996. Almost 180 plant specimens were collected in these studies. After the identification of these specimens, 85 taxa at specific and sub-specific ranks were determined. Of these, 28 taxa are new to the Al grid-square. In addition, Polytrichum commune var. perigoniale (Michx.) Hampe is a new record for the moss flora of Turkey.

A total of seventy eight lichen species, which belongs to twenty families in Ascomycotina, are listed for Karacabey county, Bursa Province. 28 of which are new records for Bursa province. In addition the distribution and substrata of these species are given.

In this study, 120 taxa were identified by the authors. These belong to 27 families and 61 genera of Bryophytes. of these 25 taxa are new for the A4 grid-square adopted by Henderson (1961).
