Children with disabilities are not participating in enough physical activity to meet the recommendations for health benefits. Parental perceptions of their child’s physical competence has a role in influencing physical activity levels. Parental perceptions can be improved through observations of their children in successful physical situations. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to analyze change in parental perceptions of their child’s physical competence after participating in a family-centered physical activity program.
