The harmful effects of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) can reach the autonomic nervous system (ANS) and endothelial function. Therefore, the detrimental multiorgan effects of COVID-19 could be induced by deregulations in ANS that may persist after the acute SARS-CoV-2 infection. Additionally, investigating the differences in ANS response in overweight/obese, and physically inactive participants who had COVID-19 compared to those who did not have the disease is necessary. The purpose of this study is to develop norms for the Marine Corps Physical Fitness Test in each somatotype classification as determined by the Heath-Carter anthropometric measurement. At the present time, norms exist only for the group as a whole which is comprised mainly of mesomorphs. This, of course, results in a great many endomorphs who score poorly, or not at all, and some ectomorphs who also do poorly. It is proposed that endomorphs, ectomorphs, and mesomorphs should each have their own norms.

It was the purpose of this study to investigate the pros and cons of a new-and-old form of exercise called isometric contraction and to determine its place in the realm of athletics and physical fitness. Through research the paper will attempt to reach a conclusion as to the predicted success of isometric contraction upon strength1 a component of physical fitness. It will attempt to show the advantages and disadvantages of isometric contraction as a means of attaining, maintaining, and improving strength.
