Pemberian Makanan Bayi dan Anak (PMBA) yang optimal akan meningkatkan kesempatan hidup dan pertumbuhan anak; juga daya tangkap untuk menguasai keterampilan serta pengetahuan yang mereka perlukan sebelum memulai pendidikan di tahun-tahun awal sekolah. Tidak hanya bagi bayi dan anak, pemenuhan gizi yang baik juga amat penting bagi ibu hamil dan menyusui. Selain penjelasan lengkap seputar PMBA dan kesehatan ibu hamil/menyusui, modul ini juga menjelaskan kepercayaan lokal yang kepercayaan lokal yang terkadang menimbulkan misinformasi dan menghambat akses bagi ibu, bayi, dan anak untuk mendapatkan nutrisi yang dibutuhkan. Frameworks referencing synthesised bodies of prominent research adorn education improvement policy like curiously named pieces of Ikea furniture—peculiar in their assemblage, ostensibly contemporary, and striking in their modular convenience. The Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) undertook this study for the Office of the Chief Scientist (OCS). It explores the practice and application of Work Integrated Learning (WIL) in STEM, with a particular focus on natural and physical sciences, information technology, and agriculture departments in Australian universities. The project involved a detailed ‘stocktake’ of WIL in practice in these disciplines, with collection of information by interview, survey instruments, consultation with stakeholders and literature reviews.
