The Flora Of Kaşmer Dağı (Şanlıurfa, Turkey), Hasan Akan, Ömer Faruk Kaya, İsmai̇l Eker, Cenap Cevheri̇

This research was carried out from 2001 to 2004 in order to determine the flora of Kaşmer Dağı. The research area is situated in Şanlıurfa province and within C7 of the grid system. In the area, 262 taxa belonging to 47 families, and 156 genera were determined. Of all the collected specimens, 33 taxa are new records for C7, and 10 taxa are endemic for Turkey. According to the floristic regions, Irano-Turanian elements ranked first with a rate of 35.87%, followed by Mediterranean elements with a rate of 11.83% and Euro-Siberian elements with a rate of 1.9%. One hundred and six lichen taxa are reported from the city of Giresun and Giresun Island, Turkey. One of these, Phaeographis dendritica (Ach.) Müll.Arg., is new to Turkey.

The Flora Of Erciyes Dağı (Kayseri, Turkey), Cem Vural, Zeki̇ Aytaç

This research details the flora of Erciyes Dağı, situated in the province of Kayseri in Central Anatolia, entirely within the Irano-Turanian phytogeographic region. A total of 2554 plant specimens were collected from the research area between 1996 and 2002. An evaluation of these specimens revealed 89 families, 433 genera and 1170 taxa (1116 species, 31 subspecies and 23 varieties). Of the 1170 taxa, 11 are pteridophytes, 12 gymnosperms and 1147 angiosperms (979 dicotyledons and 168 monocotyledons). Of these taxa, 36 are cultivars. This study serves as a checklist of the myxomycetes of Trabzon and Giresun provinces, Turkey. Sixty-one myxomycete were identified, 20 of which were collected in the field and 41 grown in moist chamber culture. Macrofungi Determined In Gölbaşı (Adıyaman) District, Abdullah Kaya

Macrofungi specimens were collected from Gölbaşı (Adıyaman) district in 2000-2003. As a result of field and laboratory studies, 77 taxa belonging to 22 families in the classes Ascomycetes and Basidiomycetes were identified. Five of them, Cyathus stercoreus (Schw.) de Toni, Entoloma rusticoides (Gill.) Noordel., Pluteus dietrichii Bres., Coprinus dilectus Fr. and Panaeolus guttulatus Bres., are new records for Turkey.

The unidentified lichen specimens collected about 50 years ago and stored in the herbarium of the Faculty of Science, the University of İstanbul (ISTF) were examined taxonomically and identified. This lichen collection includes 67 species, some of which are rare and interesting for the collection sites. Most of the samples are from İstanbul and its surroundings, but some are from several provinces in Anatolia.

This research was carried out in 2002 and 2003 in order to determine the flora of Kalecik Mountain. The research area is situated in Şanlıurfa province and within C7 of the grid system. In the area, 238 taxa belonging to 39 families, and 140 genera, were determined. Of all the collected specimens, 28 taxa are new records for C7, and 13 (5.46%) taxa are endemic for Turkey. This study was based on specimens of macrofungi collected from Karabük province between 1998 and 2000. It resulted in the identification of 121 taxa belonging to 33 families, and 14 taxa were added to the Turkish mycota flora as new records.

This paper describes a floristic study of Bitlis river basin. The research was carried out from 2001 and 2003 to 2150 vascular plant specimens were collected. After the identification of the specimens, the flora was determined to include 925 taxa (at specific and infraspecific ranks) belonging to 770 species, 386 genera and 85 families. One hundred and seventy-nine taxa were defined as new records for the B9 square. The endemism rate of the area is 6.8% based on 63 taxa. This paper describes a floristic study on Kirmir valley, between Güdül and Yeşilöz district, in Ankara province. The study was carried out during 2000-2003 and 1040 vascular plant specimens were collected. Four hundred and forty-eight wild taxa belonging to 266 genera and 74 families were determined. Furthermore, as for cultivated plants, 45 taxa were determined. The total number of wild and cultivated plant species is 493. Thirty-two of the wild taxa are endemic to Turkey and the rate of endemism is 7.1%. The 3 largest families are Asteraceae (43 taxa), Brassicaceae (40 taxa), and Fabaceae (37 taxa). The largest 3 …
