Accommodating Invisible Illnesses And Disabilities In The Workplace, Elizabeth Simmons

As our society evolves and becomes more accepting of people impacted by disabilities, we need to work to understand how to best accommodate those disabilities in the workplace. If employees and supervisors were trained on the importance of accommodating disabilities and the potential legal risk associated with a lack of accommodation, I believe they would be more open to implementing those accommodations. This research has taught me the value of how you can never understand what every person is going through.
