As a result of the huge development of technology, modern models have emerged in land transportation of persons, such as Uber and Lyft applications. Through this application, the driver in his own vehicle transports customers who requested transportation service from the application. The transportation companies claim that the drivers are independent contractors, while on the other hand, the drivers claim that they are employees so that they are covered by the rights guaranteed in the Labor Law.
