Although the use of electronic computers in legal research has not yet been perfected, Professor Dickerson believes that computers may be at least a partial answer to the problem created by the ever-increasing mass of statutory material and judicial decisions that must be consulted to determine the law on a given point. He explains just how the computers are used in legal research and points out their limitations as well as their advantages.
