Deep space asteroid mining presents the opportunity for the collection of critical resources required to establish a cis-lunar infrastructure. In specific, the Project Khepri team has focused on the collection of water from asteroid Bennu. This water has the potential to provide a source of clean-energy propellant as well as an essential consumable for humans or agriculture on crewed trips to the Moon or Mars. This would avoid the high costs of launching from Earth - making it a highly desirable element for the future of cis-lunar infrastructure. In the Spring of 2020, law schools across North America rapidly shifted to pass/fail grading in response to the COVID-19 global pandemic. To help answer what the impact of this shift was on student learning, we analyzed a large dataset of approximately 2,000 survey responses from faculty and students. We tested two hypotheses, our findings were consistent with the hypothesis that learning outcomes improved under a pass/fail grading system. Many students talked about how the shift helped them learn in a deep and meaningful way.

Background: Housing First (HF) is internationally recognized as an evidence-based model for the development of programs that target homelessness. In London, Ontario, there are a handful of HF programs and research has investigated their efficacy. However, HF is only effective for "managing" homelessness, whereas prevention is also needed. Through a recent update of Canada’s national funding for homelessness, municipalities are seeing an increase in resources to prevent homelessness. With additional funding on offer, research needs to move beyond questions of HF efficacy and instead ask how to fully evolve a system of both responsive and preventative models.

My research is a study of the legal framework that governs the Nigerian Electricity Supply Industry to determine the viability of generation, grid connection and transmission of electricity small scale renewable electricity generators. I would be making a comparative analysis between the measures adopted by Ontario and Southern Australia to proffer appropriate recommendations to solve the problem of inadequate electricity access in Nigeria. These jurisdictions were chosen bearing in mind their strong fossil fuel background and the various action plans that were adopted to resolve the issue of overdependence on fossil fuels.

This study explores the sociolinguistic barriers that Mexican Agricultural Temporary Workers (MATW) experience during their temporary stays in Canada. Following an ethnographic approach, some of the findings were that the sociolinguistic barriers lead to sociolinguistic dependency, increasing and perpetuating human and social inequalities of the MATW.
