Under the 3.0 book industry, the author’s role in exploiting their creations has to embrace new and creative business models, which may often come into conflict with publisher’s old business models. En ese contexto, se hizo un análisis económico comparativo sobre la aceptación del pacto comisorio en el sistema peruano y en su modalidad marciana española.

It will begin with some overall comments about revised Article 3, specifically about the extent and significance of the revision. Lex mercatoria is, as a label for contemporary transnational commercial law, well known from legal literature regarding international markets . Some arguments with respect to that concept have historical implications: a medieval body of commercial law is often considered as the predecessor of the lex mercatoria of today. Yet, legal historians have recently questioned whether a medieval commercial law existed in a uniform sense in different locations. As a result, the intellectual history of the concept of lex mercatoria is the more interesting. This article discusses the changing ways in which information is produced, stored, and shared — exemplified by the rise of social-networking sites like Facebook and controversies over the activities of WikiLeaks — and the implications for privacy and data protection. Legal protections of privacy have always been reactive, but the coherence of any legal regime has also been undermined by the lack of a strong theory of what privacy is. La presente investigación analiza los aspectos generales de la regulación de los títulos valores en el Proyecto de Código Civil y Comercial del año 2012 para la República Argentina. Concluyen, en algún punto, que las modificaciones acaecidas si bien mejoran algunas cuestiones se quedan a mitad de camino y que hubiere sido mejor una regulación más completa de esta problemática.

La estructura de toma de decisiones societarias requiere de la decisión directorial de realizar un determinado acto (firma de un contrato, suscripción de un cheque, otorgamiento de un poder, etc.) y de una persona que ejecute dicho acto en representación de la sociedad. In a recent High Court decision concerning the division of matrimonial assets, the Judge developed an extensive (and somewhat mathematical) methodology “as a rough check” to his discretionary powers in determining a “just and equitable” division of the matrimonial assets. This introduced a new perspective to an exercise long considered to be impossible to be mathematically precise. This piece considers the extent of the utility of the new methodology.
