Human dignity is of paramount concern in the modern world mentioned explicitly and implicitly in several verses of the Holy Book of Islam, the Quran. In the first part of the present study we discuss the most explicit verses regarding human dignity that pertain to the children of Adam (A.S.), manifestation of dignity and attributive effects of children on their ancestors from two points of view, Islam and Christianity.
