On November 1, 2019, Golden Gate University School of Law (GGU Law) will host its 7th Annual Veterans Law Conference with the focus on military sexual assault through the lens of the #MeToo movement. The goal of the conference is to highlight the problem of military sexual violence in order to help craft better preventative solutions.

The Golden Gate University School of Law Public Interest Law Foundation has selected GGU Law Alumna Kirsten Keith (JD 94), City Council Member and former Mayor of Menlo Park as its second recipient of the Drucilla Stender Ramey Public Interest Achievement Award. The award, named in honor of GGU Law’s former dean and public interest champion, honors individuals in the GGU community whose outstanding work has advanced justice and social change in the lives of vulnerable populations.

Golden Gate University School of Law and the Society of American Law Teachers (SALT) proudly present "Vulnerable Populations and Economic Realities: An Interdisciplinary Approach to Law Teaching," a two-day conference on poverty law that will be held at the School of Law on Friday, March 19 and Saturday, March 20, 2010. Academics and practitioners from legal education, the social sciences, and the news media will share new data and theories about our most vulnerable populations and explore critical issues facing these groups in an interdisciplinary context for use in law teaching.

The Russian legal practitioners are from that nation's far east region and are meeting with Golden Gate Law representatives to share ideas on how to preserve their home area from exploitation of its natural resources.
