Magic, Mutilation, And Murder: A Case For Granting Asylum To Tanzanian Nationals With Albinism, Stacy Larson

This paper argues that the: language and intent of the U.S. Immigration and Nationality Act; current country conditions in United Republic of Tanzania; international treaties; and recent developments in case law defining the scope and coverage of the “particular social group” category, all support the right of Persons with Albinism (PWAs) to seek asylum because of the persecution they have suffered or fear on account of their disability.
