The Electrolytic Purification Of An Impure Cadmium Sulfate Solution With A Cell Utilizing A Mercury Cathode And A Lead Anode, W. D. Mcmaster
The Electrolytic Purification Of An Impure Cadmium Sulfate Solution With A Cell Utilizing A Mercury Cathode And A Lead Anode, W. D. Mcmaster
Bachelors Theses and Reports, 1928 - 1970
Cadmium is produced solely as a by-product and all cadmium of commerce is obtained from zinc ores. It is a rare occurrence when zinc deposits are found which do not contain some cadmium.
Polarographic Analysis Applied To Metallurgical Solutions And Products, Donald W. Johnson
Polarographic Analysis Applied To Metallurgical Solutions And Products, Donald W. Johnson
Bachelors Theses and Reports, 1928 - 1970
The polarograph has been applied to a large number of chemical and metallurgical analyses, and is especially applicable to solution control analysis and to the determination of minute quantities of ions in the presence of large amounts of other ions.
Vacuum Distillation Of Zinc And Cadmium From Zinc Leach Purification Cake, Stiles R. Slosson
Vacuum Distillation Of Zinc And Cadmium From Zinc Leach Purification Cake, Stiles R. Slosson
Bachelors Theses and Reports, 1928 - 1970
The term "vacuum distillation" is used to describe the process employed when certain elements are separated either from their mother compounds or from one another by distilling them under reduced atmospheric pressure.
Ferromagnetic Alloys In The System Cu-Mn-Zn, W. Michael Yim
Ferromagnetic Alloys In The System Cu-Mn-Zn, W. Michael Yim
Bachelors Theses and Reports, 1928 - 1970
The purpose of this investigation is to determine whether ferromagnetic alloys exist in the ternary system Cu-Mn-Zn analogous to the other Heusler alloys. The work in this thesis is a preliminary investigation on these alloys using a common metallographic research technique and augmented with X-ray methods.
