"The construction of the single classifier is well shown in the attached blueprint.
On the print it will be noted that the classifier is divided into two general parts, an upper hopper-shaped chamber GFED, and a lower portion consisting of the flat tube C, encased by the chamber A. Between upper and lower portions is the gasket L which serves to make a close joint between them, and also by forcing C downward, to make tight joints between A and C at both top and bottom.
