The stand is used to determine characteristics of fans and dust collectors, especially their efficiency at different levels of dustiness of the air being cleaned. Both wet- and dry-dust collectors arc manufactured as experimental installations, prototypes products designed for industrial applications. The design of the research installation has been so elaborated that the installation is characterized by great flexibility in respect of its applicability, enabling both comparison tests and attestation tests to be carried out.
