Flotation Tests On A Table Sludge From The Golden Rod Milling Company At Tar River, Oklahoma, William H. Kamp
Flotation Tests On A Table Sludge From The Golden Rod Milling Company At Tar River, Oklahoma, William H. Kamp
Professional Degree Theses
"The purpose of this experimental work is to give to the operators of the Joplin District some facts concerning the possibilities of flotation in their district. An attempt will be made to show that high-grade concentrates can be made economically; also that the usual gravity concentration. It is believed that the oil and reagent used will not put a prohibitive cost burden upon the operators. It is, of course, realized that flotation concentrates of any zinc tenor bear a penalty because of the fineness of the product"--Introduction, page 3.

A Complete Coal Mine Survey, Harry A. Kluge
A Complete Coal Mine Survey, Harry A. Kluge
Professional Degree Theses
"As an introduction to this thesis, it would probably be well to give the laws of the State of Illinois relative to mine maps. These laws come under "An Act to revise the laws in relation to the coal mines and subjects relating thereto, and providing for the health and safety of persons employed therein. Approved June 6, 1911, inforce July 1, 1911. leaf 1911, page 388." Section 7 reads as follows: (a) The operator of every coal mine in the State shall make, or cause to be made, an accurate map or plan of such mine, drawn to a …
Geologic Conditions Affecting The Accumulation Of Oil And Gas In The Beggs District, Oklahoma, John Charles Miller
Geologic Conditions Affecting The Accumulation Of Oil And Gas In The Beggs District, Oklahoma, John Charles Miller
Professional Degree Theses
"It is generally accepted that there is lack of parallelism between surface and subsurface beds and between the productive sands in the Beggs District, a condition similar to that which obtains in the Cushing Field. The explanation of this condition as given on page 31, Bulletin 658, U.S. Geological Survey, is: 1) The difference in resistance to compression of the hard and soft beds of which the formations of the Cushing Field are composed; 2) The lenticular form of the Bartlesville sand (the equivalent of the Glen; Gas of Morris pool); 3) One or more unconformities between surface beds and …
Investigations To Determine A Possible Source Of The Carboniferous Sandstone Of The Ozark Region, John Hyer Bowles, Lewis Ely Davidson, William Ferdinand Netzeband
Investigations To Determine A Possible Source Of The Carboniferous Sandstone Of The Ozark Region, John Hyer Bowles, Lewis Ely Davidson, William Ferdinand Netzeband
Professional Degree Theses
"In preparing this thesis the object has been to determine, by comparisons, a possible source of the Carboniferous sandstones. It is perfectly obvious that the material came from some older formation. Considering all the possible sources from which the Carboniferous sandstone could have originated, we, have the Pre-Cambrian igneous rocks of the St. Francois Mountains, the basal Cambrian sandstone or the La Motte formation, the Roubidoux formation (chiefly sandstone), and the St. Peter formation (essentially sandstone)"--Introduction, page 4.

The Mexican Oil Fields, Raul Chavez
The Mexican Oil Fields, Raul Chavez
Professional Degree Theses
"Owing to the large area involved in this paper it is proposed to give only briefly the history, geology and development of the oil industry in Mexico, as well as to discuss in a general way the present oil legislation which has brought so much comment in the papers and has raised to much diplomatic trouble between the Mexican and United States Governments. This discussion is therefore of a brief nature and only the most culminant features and details of the subject in mind are here treated. The information and data here given were accumulated during personal examination of the …
