Internet Of Things Security Case Studies And Internet Of Things Core Service Comparions, Jaseong Koo
Electronic Theses, Projects, and Dissertations
This culminating project conducted an analysis of IoT security breach case studies. The analysis identified numerous vulnerable points: software failure, node tampering attack, eavesdropping, code injection, unauthorized access, social engineering attack, hardware exploitation, and node insertion. It therefor seems that even with the proper tests conducted on vulnerabilities to discover solutions, regular end users are unable to apply patches or other technical solutions to protect themselves. This project solely focuses on analyzing of comprehensive IoT security services that come with devices connected to home network. The devices are those provided by the big three: Amazon, Google, and Microsoft, on the …

This entire process is done using MPICH which is a high performance and portable implementation of Message Passing Interface standard.
The project involves setting up the passwordless authentication between two local servers with the help of SSH connection. By establishing a peer to peer communication and by using a unique …
Estimation On Gibbs Entropy For An Ensemble, Lekhya Sai Sake
Estimation On Gibbs Entropy For An Ensemble, Lekhya Sai Sake
Electronic Theses, Projects, and Dissertations
In this world of growing technology, any small improvement in the present scenario would create a revolution. One of the popular revolutions in the computer science field is parallel computing. A single parallel execution is not sufficient to see its non-deterministic features, as same execution with the same data at different time would end up with a different path. In order to see how non deterministic a parallel execution can extend up to, creates the need of the ensemble of executions. This project implements a program to estimate the Gibbs Entropy for an ensemble of parallel executions. The goal is …

Future Of Asynchronous Transfer Mode Networking, Fakhreddine Mohamed Hachfi
Future Of Asynchronous Transfer Mode Networking, Fakhreddine Mohamed Hachfi
Theses Digitization Project
The growth of Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) was considered to be the ideal carrier of the high bandwidth applications like video on demand and multimedia e-learning. ATM emerged commercially in the beginning of the 1990's. It was designed to provide a different quality of service at a speed up 100 Gbps for both real time and non real time application. The turn of the 90's saw a variety of technologies being developed. This project analyzes these technologies, compares them to the Asynchronous Transfer Mode and assesses the future of ATM.
