The Ciceroni app for iOS is a crowdsourcing tour app that allows users to create and share tours consisting of a collection of locations. Although it can be used for various purposes, it was designed to facilitate the transfer of knowledge from locals to tourists and to provide a free alternative to traditional tours. The app enables Facebook users to create and share lists of locations which other users can then view and get directions to on a map.
