A Novel Greedy Based Algorithm For Resource Allocation In Cloud Computing Environment, Vijendra Pratap Singh

Resource allocation in a cloud computing environment means a mechanism to allocate different cloudlets to the available cloud resources on the basis of some criteria like cloudlets’ characteristics and/or requirements. It is one of the major challenges for cloud providers. Cloud providers have introduced many models for resource allocation. In this paper, we have proposed a greedy-based resource allocation algorithm. Here, first of all, the given cloudlets are classified into two categories: computational cloudlets and interactive cloudlets on the basis of some parameters.
