Intelligent Sandbox For Geography Teaching, Xianli Ji, Yulong Ding, Shuanghua Yang
Journal of System Simulation
Abstract: An intelligent sandbox geography teaching demonstration system combining the augmented reality technology and related geographic knowledge is designed and implemented on the Unity3D platform. The system has functions of deep data processing, projection matrix transformation, terrain rendering, fluid simulation, physical characteristics, adding entities along the slope, changes in sunshine angle, gesture interaction, etc., which can render virtual terrain and scene in real time according to the change of the sandbox. Students can interact with the system in projection correction, adding entities, seasonal switching, weather effects, disaster simulation and other scenarios and learn knowledge points such as contour lines, …

Design And Implementation Of Interactive Ar System For Campus Roaming, Shengwei Qin, Li Zhong, Jinfeng Li, Zihao Chen, Jingqian Ding, Wanshun Liu
Journal of System Simulation
Abstract: There are many kinds of navigation applications in universities recently. These applications have obvious shortcomings, which only indicate the outdoor locations without detail information; even some places cannot be found in the map; and it takes a lot of time to design a system. Meanwhile the system cannot achieve real-time interaction effect in virtual ramble. An interactive campus roaming augmented reality (AR) system is designed combining with GPS module for locating outside the campus and utilizing deep learning technology to achieve locating the inside buildings of campus. Simultaneously AR technology will improve interactivity of the system. The experiment …
Target Tracking Simulation For Unmarked Augmented Reality System Based On Kcf, Zhili Zhang, Wang Chao, Long Yong, Shaodi Wang
Target Tracking Simulation For Unmarked Augmented Reality System Based On Kcf, Zhili Zhang, Wang Chao, Long Yong, Shaodi Wang
Journal of System Simulation
Abstract: An AR system based on the kernelized correlation filter (KCF) target tracking is designed for solving the problem of the insufficiency of tracking in the unmarked augmented reality (AR). The KCF is used to identify and track the targets. The relevant parameters of the camera position are imported. The openGL graphical program interface is called to load the precast object onto the target. The KCF simulation experiment is carried out to track the target with visual studio. The results show that the AR application system based on KCF method can effectively improve the real-time performance of target tracking, and …

Simulation System For Special Material Processing Training Based On Augmented Reality Technology, Bin Luo, Shuangquan Ge
Journal of System Simulation
Abstract: A simulation system for special material processing training within the shielded environment is developed based on augmented reality technology. An observation system composed of analogue camera and network high dome system camera is designed and constructed to extend the view scope of operators. Single hand finger recognition technology is then combined with the observation system to implement friendly interactions between operators and the simulation system, and to achieve interactive training. Augmented reality technology is applied to create fused virtual-real vision, which leads to the implementation of augmented processing induction of cone-shaped part. Primary tests show that the developed …
