Mescopic Model Of Drying Shrinkage And Its Application Into Control Of Shrinkage Cracking, Toyoharu Nawa
Mescopic Model Of Drying Shrinkage And Its Application Into Control Of Shrinkage Cracking, Toyoharu Nawa
International Conference on Durability of Concrete Structures
Concrete shrinks when it is subjected to drying, whenever its surfaces are exposed to air of a low relative humidity. In such a situation, cracking is to be expected, since there are various kinds of restraint that prevent concrete from contracting freely. Unless the ambient relative humidity is kept at close to 100%, such shrinkage cracking presents a critical problem in concrete construction, in particular for thin, flat structures such as walls and slabs in buildings, highway pavements, and bridge decks. This paper review the state of art of theory drying shrinkage from focus on the fact that microstructure in …
The Influence Of Waste Glass Powder On The Chloride Binding Capacity Of Fly Ash/Cement Hardened Paste, Jh Yan, Tingyu Hao
The Influence Of Waste Glass Powder On The Chloride Binding Capacity Of Fly Ash/Cement Hardened Paste, Jh Yan, Tingyu Hao
International Conference on Durability of Concrete Structures
The potential of using waste glass powder to increase the chloride binding capacity of fly ash/cement hardened paste was investigated. When only fly ash replacing cement, the chloride binding capacity was raised within 28d when the fly ash replacement level was in the range from 30-50% by mass. But at a longer age of 60 to 90d, the binding performance was increased at the replacement level of 10-30wt%. The chloride binding capacity of glass powder-fly ash-cement system was increased by adding glass powder of 2% and 4% by mass at 7d while those at larger addition and longer age reduced. …
