Movement of water in vadose zone, mainly focusing on infiltration and percolation that involves percolation of water under gravity from soil surface and redistribution which is the capillary rise of water movement upwards, is presented. In the global hydrologic cycle, 76% of the precipitating water enters the soil via percolation-infiltration, which leads to the downward movement of water (L’vovich 1974). The water used by natural processes, can move downwards due to infiltration and lift from groundwater table during natural redistribution process. The authorization of composite web services is different from traditional authorization in a close system due to the dynamic and complex relationships among service consumers and resources (component services). A novel combined hydrogen storage system LiBH4/[C(NH2)3]+[BH4] (GBH) complexes were reported. By a short time ball milling of LiBH4 and guanidinium chloride, a series of new LiBH4/GBH complexes were produced. It was found that the two potential hydrogen storage materials exhibited a mutual dehydrogenation improvement, releasing >10.0 wt.% of fairly pure H2 from LiBH4/GBH below 250 °C. We report that the hydrogen de/resorption of the 2LiBH4+MgH2 system was modified by introducing Ni nanoparticles. Dehydrogenation analysis revealed that the first-step dehydrogenation, i.e., the decomposition of MgH2, can be significantly promoted by adding a small amount of Ni because of the catalytic effect. However, the improvement of the second-step dehydrogenation, corresponding to the decomposition of LiBH4, needs the addition of a large amount of Ni, resulting in the formation of a Mg–Ni–B ternary alloy. The hydrogen storage properties of the MgH2-LiAlH4 (4 : 1) composite system with and withoutadditives were studied. 5 wt.% of TiF3, NbF5, NiF2, CrF2, YF3, TiCl3?1/3AlCl3, HfCl4, LaCl3, CeCl3,and NdCl3, respectively, was added to the MgH2-LiAlH4 (4 : 1) mixture, and their catalytic effect wasinvestigated. Temperature programmed desorption results show that addition of metal halides to theMgH2-LiAlH4 (4 : 1) composite system improves the onset desorption temperature. Advances in modern longwall (LW) technology have resulted in high production faces with more powerful chocks and shearers that can advance at faster rates. As longwall chocks (supports) advance, crushed roof coal and/or rock can fall from the top of the chock canopy into the face ventilation airflow. The structure and magnetic properties of perovskite DyMn1−xFexO3 samples have been studied. Static orbital orderings are expected to exist in samples with x ≤ 0.2 due to strong Jahn-Teller distortion, which become less stable as x increases and probably disappears in samples with x > 0.5. The antiferromagnetic transition temperature increases as x increases. At the composition x > 0.5, spin reorientation starts to appear. Meanwhile, the spin reorientation temperature and the antiferromagnetic Néel temperature gradually separate and widen the temperature range of the magnetic metastable state between these two transitions. The performance of a decentralised sewage treatment plant located at a rest area servicing a major freeway was investigated. Long term monitoring and rigorous analyses undertaken in this study revealed several unique and challenging issues associated with such scarcely studied systems. Data collected over a six month period showed that the raw wastewater strength was well above typical household wastewater characteristics, with the average BOD5, COD, TOC, TN and TP values of 880, 4900, 350, 238 and 8 mg/L, respectively. The system performance was considerably lower than that expected of a typical wastewater treatment unit. Several shortcomings in …
