This article provides the principles and methods of designing an expert system to obtain information on to eliminate malfunctions automatic and telemechanic system in railway transport. An expert system is presented that performs a modeling action on restore problem situations and correct various types of errors, failures of various systems, and determine the elimination of malfunction of automatic and telemechanic systems of railway transport
